RASSPL Nationals R50 000 cash prizes excluding sponsored prizes.

The results are up under the results banner for EP and Border and the top 40 qualify to fish. The top 30 anglers in the WP Boland and Weskus can start booking there accommodation as there wont be too many changes in positions in the last comp. There are juniors and ladies that appear in the top 40 that will be counted in a separate category and some angler who can’t make it due to other commitments. All anglers wanting to fish must pay there National fee of R500 for the three days into the RASSPL account. Any anglers who haven’t paid for there tournament fees by 28th February will forfeit there spot to the next angler in line to fish.

The majority of the entry fee will go to paying for prizes There will be a guaranteed R10 000 cash prize as well as a     R5 000 and  R2500 these prizes will be decided on by the chosen committee before the event along with 3 Samsung Flat screen TVs each day for the biggest fish. There will also be a R5000 cash prize for the biggest Bronze bream caught during the tournament and 8 x R1000 prizes a total of R24000 over the three days for the biggest fish of each specie over each of each day. This is a total of  R50 000 in cash and 3 Samsung TVs excluding the sponsored prizes.

Including 10 free memberships worth R4000 for the top ten anglers scoring the highest points  at the nationals and a years free entry into 8 competitions worth R560 to the angler who takes first spot.

Ladies and Juniors will be fishing at the same time and any juniors and ladies that fished this past year automatically qualify to fish. Junior entry fee is free to the tournament.

All anglers fishing will be required to wear a RASSPL pro shirt for the tournament so if you don’t already own one  please place your order before the 28th Feb so the suppliers have time to make them. Shirts will be discounted for the nationals If you buy 2 they will cost R250 each if you buy 1 R280 and Juniors R195  I have negotiated a better price based on the volume we will be ordering. I am also having shorts made and will post a pic as soon as they are complete the shorts are not compulsory. I will have prices by next week and post a picture of the shorts.
